About Me

Welcome to FillingQuiver

My name is Erin and I am so glad you’ve stopped by.

What this blog is about:

  • Parenting a large family – What life is really like raising 4 boys.  In a nutshell…how do we do it?
  • Christian conservationism – We are living our life as best we can to be frugal and green…but our desire to do some comes from our Biblical values and worldview. We share our favorite “frugal” tips, from our menu ideas, cloth diapering, baby wearing to green cleaning.
  • Homeschooling - Our personal experiences with the ins and outs of this educational privilege. We’ve been homeschooling for 5 years and are learning new things every day.
  • Being a wife and mother- I had a lot of hard lessons to learn when I first became a wife. Through God’s grace I am learning how to be a “help-meet” to my husband. I share the lessons I have learned and am learning on this journey.

    Hello Erin,
This is Dustin, I am letting you know I really enjoyed meeting you very intelligent children. They were fun, and very energetic! reminds of me when I was their age. I also enjoyed meeting you and your husband. You guys were great influences even though I didn’t really know you that long. I am here at Northwestern Oklahoma State University studying piano which I am very passionate about. I am almost done with the spring semester and plan on taking summer classes.
God Bless and tell everyone I say hello.
